On
Atlas there are two
challenges that will reward with titles and Atlas Orbs the players completing them.
This challenges are part of
Beta and might not be available at launch in this form.
SOLO (top)
This challenge can be taken using the
/nohelp
command at
Level 1.
Existing characters that were created after the Solo Challenge launch and before this patch (Jan 4th 00:00 GMT - Jan 7th 21:00 GMT) can still join the challenge using the same command.
This challenge can be taken at the same time as the
Hardcore Challenge or other running challenges.
Completing multiple challenges at the same time will award the sum of all rewards.
MODIFIERS (top)
The following functions are disabled while in
solo mode:
- Receiving Heals
- Receiving concentration and timed buffs (i.e. DA or DS from other players)
- Accessing the Account Vault
- Accessing the Housing Vault
- Grouping
- Player Trading
REWARDS (top)
Players joining the Solo Challenge will award the player the following
Titles:
Both
Titles are
character bound and become permanent for the duration of
Beta if the character reaches Level 50.
The solo mode will be automatically disabled upon reaching Level 50.
Reaching Level 50 in solo mode will also reward the player with 15.000 Atlas Orbs.
These Orbs can be vaulted or traded to any characters and will only persist through the
Beta.
HOW TO JOIN SOLO (top)
Use
/nohelp
at Level 1.
It can be disabled with the same command at any time after confirming a prompt.
Disabling will remove all Solo Challenge restrictions, the challenge specific
Titles and
will void the character from any further solo rewards.
SOLO LADDER AND /WHO (top)
The ladder showing the Top 50 Solo characters is accessible using
/sololadder
/who
will display <solo> next to the players taking the challenge.
/who solo
will list the players taking the challenge currently online.
HARDCORE (top)
This challenge can be taken using the
/hardcore on
command at
Level 1.
This challenge can be taken at the same time as the
Solo Challenge or other running challenges.
Completing multiple challenges at the same time will award the sum of all rewards.
MODIFIERS (top)
The following functions are disabled while in
hardcore mode:
- Accessing the Account Vault
- Accessing the Housing Vault
If while in Hardcore Mode, the challenger groups with a player that is more than 5 levels higher (e.g., PLing), the Hardcore character will receive no XP.
Players with Hardcore mode active will have [HARDCORE] in their killspam, should they die.
The killspam will also be broadcasted to Discord (#obituary) along with the details of their achievement.
Upon death (RvR, PvE, or environment), the character is automatically deleted and cannot be recovered! IMPORTANT!
NOTE: Atlas staff is not responsible for hardcore deaths and will not restore deleted characters
REWARDS (top)
Players joining the Hardcore Challenge will award the player the following titles:
- Hardcore
- Hardcore Solo Beetle - if the player is also taking the Solo Challenge
Both titles are
character bound and become permanent for the duration of beta if the character reaches Level 50.
Reaching Level 50 in hardcore mode will also reward the player with 50.000 Atlas Orbs.
These Orbs can be vaulted or traded to any characters and will only persist through the Beta.
The hardcore mode will be automatically disabled upon reaching Level 50.
HOW TO JOIN HC (top)
Use
/hardcore on
at Level 1.
Hardcore mode cannot be disabled for the character, death is the only way.
